Karl is an MBA candidate at Georgetown University. He previously worked as a project manager for the Inter-American Development Bank in the private sector development division of the Haiti Department. He joined the Bank in 2013 after graduating from The George Washington University with a concentration in finance. Among other things, his line of work included coordinating the launch of an agro-industrial program, and conducting financial analyses and research for other Bank projects in the private sector realm. Karl founded HFund in December 2014.

Karl-Philippe is the co-founder of Koteyo SA, a technology company that aims to bring innovative marketing and advertising services to developing countries. He is also the co-founder and served as COO of G-Plex, a real estate management and investment firm, which acquires and manages properties in Montreal and the Ottawa/Gatineau region. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Quebec, and has held previous positions at the RBC (Royal Bank of Canada), BMO (Banque de Montréal).
Marc Alain Boucicault

Since 2009, Marc Alain has been working in international development, operations management and macroeconomic research on Haiti at the World Bank then with the Inter-American Development Bank. He is the co-founder and former president of Groupe ECHO Haiti, an organization valorizing the potential of young adults in development in Haiti through which he lead several innovative projects including ELAN Haiti, a platform that brings together a community of young leaders and entrepreneurs from around the world focused on taking joint actions in Haiti. Marc Alain is a Fulbright scholar and holds a masters in Financial Economic Policy from American University.
Managing Partner- Operations Director
Luigi is the co-founder of Koteyo SA, a technology company that aims to bring innovative marketing and advertising services to developing countries. Recent economics graduate from the University of Toronto, Luigi has been actively involved in the Canadian venture capital industry. He served as a portfolio executive for Rational Capital Fund and worked closely with several startups. Prior to joining HFund, Luigi worked as a discount analyst at Nissan Finance Headquarters. He has also held previous interning positions in the freight shipping (AGEMAR SA) and the construction industry (ARCHIVOLT) in Haiti.
